High School: Competed in baseball under Head Coach Jeff Remo and basketball for Head Coach Mike Branagh at Mahwah H.S....A three-year starter in baseball...As a senior, started all 27 games at shortstop and batted .481 with a 1.197 OPS, 39 hits, nine doubles, 31 runs, 20 RBIs, and seven stolen bases...As a junior, started all 25 games at shortstop and batted .370 with .931 OPS, 27 hits, and 19 RBIs...Named all-county, all-group, and all-league as a senior, when he was also a North Jersey.com Gold Glove winner...Named all-league as a junior.
