Ginny Lussan enters her third year as equestrian head coach at Drew University in 2021-22.
Lussan came to the Forest with over 25 years as an instructor. Currently, she is the owner and trainer of Lussan, LLC – a horse stable founded in 2011 and located at Hart Farm in Lebanon, N.J.
At her current position, Lussan trains beginner to advanced equestrians and equines for competitive and recreational riding. Lussan has coached qualifying riders to year-end finals competitions at the local, regional, and national levels, including the NJPHA, NJHSA, Zone 2, and Marshall and Sterling Finals.
Lussan has gained additional experience at a multiple of other stables, including H&D Stables in Aiken, S.C. (2007-11), Windham Hill Stables in Ocala, Fla. (2005-07), Treble’s Morgan Manor in Ocala (2004-07), Palermo Show Stables in Bedminster, N.J. (2002-04), Hidden Brook Farm in Bedminster (2002-04), and Signature Limited Stables in Pittstown, N.J. (1999-2002). In addition, she has worked as a judge for local C-rated horse shows.
A native of Switzerland, Lussan grew up in Maplewood, N.J. and graduated from Caldwell University with a major in psychology and a minor in education. A decorated competitor herself, she spent six years as a rider and manager on the A competition circuit.
