Sami Strathern C'20 enters her first season as an assistant field hockey coach at Drew University in 2021. Strathern was a four-year member of the Ranger field hockey team and captured team MVP honors as a senior, when she tied for second on the squad in scoring with 10 points on two goals and a team-leading six assists from her midfield position. For her career, she played in 65 games and made 64 starts, finishing with three goals and seven assists. Strathern also served as Co-President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and was named to the Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll three times. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art before earning Master's of Arts Teaching in Art Teacher Education from Drew.
