Former Drew men’s golf standout Lucas Artigliere C’23 enters his second season as the head men's and women's golf coach of the Rangers in 2025-26.
In his first season as head coach, Artigliere captured the Landmark Conference Men's Golf Coach of the Year award after leading the Rangers to the Landmark Conference title and the team's second berth in the NCAA Division III Championships. The team won 11 events throughout the season and averaged a school-record 297.5 per round. Individually, Elliot Parker C'26 captured PING/GCAA All-America honors for the third time in his career while he and Avery Cohen C'27 also gained PING/GCAA All-Region recognition. In addition, Larkin and Parker earned a spot on the All-Landmark Conference First Team while Cohen gained second-team all-conference honors.
On the women's side, Artigliere guided the Rangers to a runner-up finish at the 2025 Landmark Conference Championships. The team captured five victories during the season and averaged a school-record 329.3 per round. At the individual level, Josephine Nguyen C'28 won both the individual Landmark Conference title and in the process, was named both the Landmark Conference Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year. She was the individual medalist in each of her last four events of the season.
Prior to his appointment as head coach, Artigliere has spent one year as a men’s and women’s assistant coach at Drew under former Head Coach John Manos, helping the Rangers to numerous outstanding team and individual performances. In addition, he has worked as an assistant golf professional at both Fairmount Country Club and the Madison Golf Club.
As an assistant coach, Artigliere helped lead Drew’s men’s and women’s teams to runner-up finishes at the Landmark Conference Championships in 2024. The men’s squad nearly captured the conference crown, finishing just two strokes back. The Rangers also won three events and posted the top season average in team history at the time, carding a 303.1.
Individually, Artigliere helped coach four student-athletes to All-Landmark Conference honors. On the men’s side, he helped Parker register an incredible season, culminating in his second consecutive PING/GCAA All-America award. He also won the Landmark Conference title and became the first Drew golfer (men’s or women’s) to qualify for the NCAA Division III Championships as an individual.
Artigliere also helped coach Kayla Diaz C’24, who earned runner-up honors at the Landmark Conference Championships to close out her record-breaking career with a third-straight First Team All-Landmark Conference honor. In addition, he helped coach Roxy Riles C’26 to her second straight first-team all-conference award following another top-seven showing at the Landmark Championship.
As a student-athlete at Drew, Artigliere was a five-year team member and a three-year team captain who captured the Landmark Conference individual title as a freshman in 2019 and again in 2022. By virtue of his conference titles, he was honored as the Landmark Conference Player of the Year and as a First Team All-Landmark Conference selection in both seasons. He also helped the Rangers to the first Landmark Conference team title and NCAA Division III Championship tournament berth in program history in 2022. Additionally, he became the first PING/GCAA All-Region recipient in team history in 2022.
For his career, Artigliere averaged a 77.3 over 55 rounds. He was the first golfer in school history to break 70 when he fired a 69 (-3) at the Kiln Intercollegiate on April 3, 2022.
In his role as assistant golf professional, Artigliere conducted competitive leagues, events, and instructional clinics for members and guests. In addition, he developed and implemented innovative sales and marketing strategies to promote golf lessons, events, and merchandise, resulting in a significant increase in revenue. He also managed his clubs’ social media platforms to enhance brand visibility and engage with the community.
A Madison native, Artigliere graduated from Drew with a bachelor of arts degree in business and was named to the Dean’s List and Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll on multiple occasions.
