Robert Epstein joined the Drew University men's and women's tennis coaching staff for the 2024-25 season.
Epstein has been a United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) Certified Tennis Professional since 2003. He brings extensive coaching experience, having served as a private tennis instructor from 2003-17, when he taught all levels from beginner to junior tournament players. He has also worked as the Head Tennis Professional at Woodbury Country Club (Woodbury, N.Y.) and as a tennis instructor at numerous additional camps and tennis clubs.
As a competitor, Epstein was ranked as high as No. 12 in the Eastern Tennis Association men's 45-and-over rankings and No. 18 in men's 35-and-over rankings. Additionally, he competed at Drew University from 1977-80, playing first singles for four years while serving as a team captain.
