After a coaching stint with her alma mater, Rutgers-Newark, Woodruff begins a new era of softball at Drew with former teammate, Charlotte Labate. She was a four-year starter in both softball and soccer as a Scarlet Raider.
In 2003 she was named the 2003 Female Rookie Student-Athlete of the Year and helped both the softball team and the soccer team establish new school records in wins. She holds school records in both single season and career saves as a goalkeeper in soccer. In the classoom, Woodruff received the Rutgers-Newark Athletic Acheivement Award, recognizing student athletes performance on and off the field, for eight-straight semesters.
The North Plainfield, N.J. native, was a two-sport All-Mountain Valley Conference performer in softball and soccer for North Plainfield High School. She received the Associated Press Distinguished Scholar Award along with the Somerset County Scholar Athlete Award.
