Olenowski enters her 10th season as an assistant coach at Drew University in 2020-21.
In 2019-20, Olenowski helped coach the Rangers to a record-breaking season. With a young squad that included just two seniors and two juniors, Drew won two more games than any team in program history, finishing with a record of 18-10. Drew also reached the championship game of the ECAC Division III Tournament as the No. 7 seed, knocking off both the second and third seeds along the way. Additionally, the team won both the Drew Rose City Classic and the Lehman College Coaches vs. Cancer Classic. Individually, two Rangers were named to the All-Landmark Conference team while an additional player captured ECAC Rookie of the Year honors.
Prior to arriving at Drew, Olenowski worked as an assistant at Montclair State University for one season. She helped the Red Hawks in all facets of the program, including recruiting, offseason conditioning, tape exchange and tracking the team's academic progress. The 2010-11 Red Hawks finished the year with 14 wins and advanced to the semifinals of the New Jersey Athletic Conference Tournament. Prior to Montclair State she interned at the Cornell University operations department.
Olenowski has deep roots in the Morris County area where she was a All-State guard for Morris Catholic High School in Denville. A two-time All-County selection, she was an integral part in two state championship teams. In 2003 she was named the Morris County Girls Championship MVP and the MVP of the Parochial B State Championship game in 2004.
The Denville, N.J. native played two seasons at Ithaca College where she graduated with a degree in Sport Management with a minor in Finance.
