Shawn Elwood enters his first season as an assistant coach of the Drew University women's basketball team in 2024-25.
Prior to his arrival at The Forest, Elwood spent two seasons as the head girls basketball coach at Roxbury High School. He helped Roxbury qualify for the state tournament for the first time in four years, and the team improved its record during both of his seasons.
Prior to his time at Roxbury, Elwood served as the freshman girls basketball coach and varsity assistant at Ridge High School, where he currently works as a physics teacher. He has also coached AAU basketball for the past three seasons.
