Laura Clemente

A four-time NCAA National Champion, Laura Clemente joins the Drew University women’s lacrosse coaching staff following the completion of her playing career with the Northwestern University. Clemente won four letters while with the powerhouse Wildcats and numerous academic honors. She begins her collegiate coaching career with the Rangers and Head Coach Kim Christos in the 2009-10 season.

“Laura brings tremendous experience to our coaching staff following her playing career,” said Christos. “She is an excellent communicator and motivator as well as a highly skilled player.  She will be an invaluable resource both on and off the field for our program.”

While playing nearly every position with the Wildcats, Clemente appeared in over 40 games in her career including the National Championship win over North Carolina in 2009. The Madison, NJ native was a three time All-Big Ten Academic selection and an Academic All-American as a Communication Studies and International Studies major.

At Madison High, Clemente won 12 letters including four in lacrosse. She was two-time All-Division and three times All-Conference with the Dodgers as well as an Academic All-American.
