Juniata Uses First Half Goal to Eliminate Rangers

HUNTINGDON, Pa. (November 3, 2010) - A goal in the 16th minute was all the Eagles in the Landmark Conference Semifinals this afternoon as Juniata will advance to the championship game on Saturday afternoon.

Coming in as the the #4 seed, Drew (13-6, 3-3 Landmark), looked to match a near even performance from two weeks ago. The Rangers suffered a 2-0 loss back on October 16 and this afternoon played the top seeded Eagles to a 1-0 batte.

With the clock reading 16:00 minutes even the conference's second leading scorer, Paula Price, received a pass from Kim Amrod for the game's lone goal. Amrod netted both goals against the Rangers in the regular season matchup.

The Rangers were outshot for only the fouth time this season 12-4 and only had four penalty corners compared to the Eagles eight.
