CENTERVILLE, Mass. (November 5, 2012) – The Drew women's soccer and field hockey teams have qualified for the ECAC Tournament which will be held this week. The ECAC will be sponsors a total of 19 team championships in the sports of field hockey, men's soccer, women's soccer, football and women's volleyball on an annual basis.
The women's soccer team will be the fifth seed in their second tournament appearance in three years. They have made a total of seven appearances under Head Coach
Christa Racine and won the 2010 ECAC Metro Championship. Drew will take on William Paterson on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. in Wayne, N.J.
Field Hockey is the seventh seed in this year's championship and has qualified for the tournament 11 times dating back to 1987. Under Head Coach
Felicia Cappabianca the Rangers went all the way to the Mid-Atlantic Championship game in 2010 for the only second time in school history. The Rangers will take on Lebanon Valley College on Thursday at at time TBD.
