Sarah Charles (Long Valley, N.J./West Morris) when she finally found the back of the cage to give the Drew (1-0) a season-opening 1-0 victory over Mercy College (0-1).
The Rangers dominated all facets of the game, firing 36 shots on the Mercy defense and drawing 25 penalty corners. The Mavericks on the other hand struggled to get their offense going, getting only three shots off and only registering three corners. Ranger goalkeeper

th Fall Fest tomorrow afternoon when they take on Cabrini College at noon.
Earlier in the day, Swarthmore pitched a 2-0 shutout over Cabrini in the tournament opener. The Garnet scored a goal in both halves, with Katie Teleky getting credit for the first half goal. In the predetermined format, a winner of the tournament is determined by best record with goal differential serving as the tiebreaker.
