Box Score Madison, N.J. (February 22, 2014) – The Drew University men's basketball team (11-14, 5-9) suffered a defeated in their final game of the season to Juniata (15-10, 6-8), 72-50 this afternoon in Baldwin Gym. This afternoon's game marked the final game in Baldwin Gym for seniors 
Jason Chornyei, 
Bob Falconiero and 
John Ford.
Sophomore 
Brian McLaughlin (Blauvelt, N.Y./Tappan Zee) paced the Ranger offense scoring 11 points, shooting .500 from the field (3-6). The Drew guard added two rebounds and four assists for the Rangers in defeat. Classmate 
Mike Klinger (Franklin Park, N.J./Rutgers Preparatory School) added 10 points and two assists for the Rangers.
The Eagles opened the game on a 8-0 run over the first five minutes of the game. Drew responded with a 14-8 run cutting the Juniata lead to 16-14 with 9:56 left in the first half. The Eagles closed out the first half on a 23-10 run taking a 39-24 lead into the locker rooms for halftime. McLaughlin led the Rangers in scoring at the half with eight points
Juniata continued their hot shooting starting the second half on an 8-0 run. Shooting 60 percent from the field in the second half the Eagles built a lead as high as 24, 55-31 with 11:36 left to play in the game. The Rangers cut the Juniata lead to 18, 63-45, after a made three-pointer from Klinger with 5:16 left to play.
Juniata was led by senior guard Brian Scholly. The Eagle guard scored 17 points shooting 7-12 from the field. Jeremy Hays added 16 points and five assists in the victory.
Sophomore 
Jason Huelbig (Middletown, N.J./Middletown North) scored nine points making his 25
th start of the season for Drew. Huelbig ended the game with four rebounds and three assists. Senior guard 
John Ford (Holbrook, N.Y./Sachem North) finished his career scoring seven points and collecting two rebounds. Senior center 
Jason Chornyei (Westerly, R.I./Cheshire Academy) scored six points and grabbed two rebounds in his final game at Baldwin Gym. Senior 
Bob Falconiero (Moorestown, N.J./Bishop Eustace) finished the game with two points, two steals and two assists.
