ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. (Oct. 24, 2015) – The Drew University field hockey team dropped its final road game of the season, 7-0, to Elizabethtown College on Saturday afternoon.
With a defensive save in the 25
th minute, sophomore defender
Michele Pozyc tied her own school record. She has 17 on the year, which is the exact same figure she posted in her Rookie of the Year award-winning performance last season.
The Rangers (2-13, 0-6) managed three shots on the day, all from junior forward
Huma Sheikh. The Blue Jays (9-5, 5-1) first scored in the ninth minute and kept the pressure on throughout the game.
With no more road games left on the docket, the Rangers will close out their season on a two-game home stand. Game one takes place on Tuesday, Oct. 27
th at 4:00 p.m. against Keystone College and game two, which is a Landmark Conference game, takes place on Saturday, Oct. 31
st at 1:00 p.m. against Moravian College.
