MADISON, N.J. (Jan. 30, 2016) – The 2015-16 regular season wrapped up for the Drew University men's and women's swimming and diving teams with a Landmark Conference tri-meet against Goucher College and The United States Merchant Marine Academy on Saturday in the F.M. Kirby Pool.

The women battled Goucher to a draw, 61-61, and fell to USMMA by a score of 97-43. The men dropped a pair of duals to the Mariners (97-38) and the Gophers (95-26).

The Rangers honored the careers of two members of the Class of 2016 on Senior Day.

Kristin Zeigler each competed in their final races in Madison on Saturday.

The women scored three first place finishes at the conference tri-meet, with sophomore
Jenny Stein winning the 100-yard backstroke in 1:03.00, junior
Jordan Jessup taking the 200-yard backstroke in 2:14.12 and freshman
Megan Cashin besting five opponents in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:09.50.

Junior
Lindsay Pearce contributed significant points by finishing second place in all four events she swam. Her breaststroke leg in the 200-yard medley relay led to a runner-up finish before hitting the wall in second place in the 100-yard breaststroke, 200-yard breaststroke and the 200-yard individual medley.

The men's meet was highlighted by freshman
Mack Fox, who scored second place points by clocking a 1:58.13 in the 200-yard freestyle.

The Rangers head into taper week before gearing up for the Landmark Conference Championships Feb. 12-14 at the Germantown Swim Center in Maryland.
