WASHINGTON, D.C. (Oct. 22, 2016) — The Drew University field hockey team traveled to our nation's capital to take on The Catholic University of America for Landmark Conference game the Rangers would drop, 4-0.

By the Numbers: The Rangers overall record has fallen to 4-11 and their conference record, to 2-4. Catholic, on the other hand is now 10-5, with a 5-1 record in the Landmark.

Turning Point: The decisive score occurred just 36 seconds into the tilt, and would prove to be enough for Catholic to take home the win.

Top Performers: Junior forward
Madi Sheetz added to her team-high shot on goal total with one, upping her season-long mark to 24. Sophomore goalkeeper
Ryann Callaghan made nine saves and only allowed a single goal in the whole second half. The usual suspects, sophomore defender
Kate Todero and junior defender
Michele Pozyc pitched in defensive saves, bringing their totals in the stat to seven and five, respectively.
