MADISON, N.J. (April 12, 2016) – The Drew University men's tennis team picked up its second straight victory with an 8-1 win over Berkeley (N.Y.) College at home on Tuesday evening.

Will Morrison nabbed two wins with a perfect 6-0, 6-0 showing in No. 2 singles and an 8-2 win at first doubles with partner and classmate
Vineet Vemulapally. Morrison improves his team-leading singles record to 9-7, while winning his fifth doubles match of the year.

Other Highlights: Freshman
Zac Rimmer clinched the match for the Rangers with his first career singles victory in the No. 5 position. His first collegiate win came in convincing fashion, 6-1, 6-0, over his Berkeley opponent. Freshman
Daniel Melchiorri (6-0, 6-2) and junior
Cole Leckburg also won in straight sets at third and fourth singles, respectively.

Coach's Corner: "It was a great team win, and a lot of players stepped up in increased roles today. It was great to see Zac clinch the match. He works so hard every day and does all the right things, so it was nice to see him rewarded today."
