BETHLEHEM, Pa. (April 6, 2016) – The Drew University men's tennis team (3-7, 0-3) fell by the smallest of margins, 5-4, at Moravian College (7-4, 1-2) in a Landmark Conference dual match on the road Wednesday afternoon.

Vineet Vemulapally was perfect on Wednesday with wins at No. 1 singles and No. 2 doubles. He defeated the top singles player from Moravian in a hard-fought straight-set decision (6-3, 7-5) and teamed up
Chris Morville at second doubles for an epic 9-8 win after a 7-2 tiebreaker victory.

Nick Lantieri and
Cole Leckburg were edged 8-6 in a close match at No. 3 doubles, giving the Greyhounds the 2-0 lead in doubles. Vemulapally and Morville salvaged a doubles point with their gritty performance at third doubles.

Will Morrison won at third singles in a battle, 6-4, 7-6 (7-3), while Lantieri rolled in his No. 4 singles match, 6-0, 6-2.
