ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. (Sept. 24, 2016) – The high-powered and nationally ranked offense of No. 16 Elizabethtown College was no match for the defensive front of the Drew University men's soccer team in a scoreless draw in Saturday's Landmark Conference opener at Ira R. Herr Field.
By the Numbers: The Rangers' record moves to 4-2-2 overall, the Blue Jays (5-1-1) tie their first game of the year and both squads open Landmark play 0-0-1.

Eduardo Martinez led the team in shots with three, including one on goal to force a save by the Blue Jays' keeper in the 58
th minute. Making his third consecutive start, sophomore goalkeeper
Stephan Lukianov recorded shutout No. 2 on the season with three saves.
Close Call: With the score still deadlocked in the first overtime period, Elizabethtown's Connor Rathsam's shot hit the post and careened back into play. The Rangers then survived a corner kick to keep it scoreless in the 96
th minute.
Stat Sheet: Elizabethtown held the advantage in shots, 16-12, albeit neither side were particularly accurate with their attempts with shots on goal coming in a three apiece. Corner kick opportunities were fairly even with a 5-4 edge to E-Town, while the Blue Jays were caught offside six times compared to Drew's one.
