SCRANTON, Pa. (January 25, 2017) — The Drew University women's basketball team fell on Wednesday evening to No. 8 The University of Scranton, 71-45, in Landmark Conference action.

By The Numbers: Scranton continues its torrid pace, expanding its record to 17-1 and 6-1 in the conference. The Royals are 8-1 at home now, their only loss coming to Catholic in overtime. The Rangers road record recedes to 2-4 with their conference record sitting at 3-4.

Hannah Miller had her outside stroke working, netting 19 points on 4-of-8 from the 3-point line and 6-of-17 overall.

Michaela Keegan dished a team-high four assists and senior forward

Turning Point: Scranton coasted into the second quarter with a response to Drew's run, posting a 10-0 flurry of its own. The attack stayed present and the Royals relentlessly tacked on to their lead, building it until the game's end.
