MADISON, N.J. – The No. 10 Drew University men's soccer team hosts the Landmark Conference championship game on Saturday afternoon at Ranger Stadium.  The top-seeded Rangers (18-0-1) take on second-seeded Elizabethtown (10-6-2) at 2 p.m., with the winner receiving an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

This will be Drew's first appearance in the Landmark championship game since 2007.  The Rangers, who are looking for their first NCAA berth since 2008, advanced to the final with a 4-0 victory over Susquehanna in the semifinals on Tuesday night.  Drew enters the contest on a 15-game winning streak, which included a 6-0 triumph over Elizabethtown on Sept. 23.

Aidan Cserhat (Taos, N.M.) leads the league and is tied for eighth nationally with 18 goals this season.  Andy Imoh (Sugar Land, Texas) has scored 10 goals, while Max Correa (Belleville, N.J.) has distributed a conference-best nine assists.  The Rangers, who average 3.58 goals per game as a team, also boast the top defense in the Landmark.  Goalkeeper Jason Adamo (Roxbury, N.J.) allows just 0.53 goals per contest and has recorded 10 shutouts this season.

Elizabethtown defeated Catholic on penalty kicks after a 0-0 draw on Tuesday night to reach its third straight Landmark championship game.  The Blue Jays have lost to Scranton in each of the last two seasons, however, and are still seeking their first Landmark title.

Offensively, the Blue Jays are paced by Gilbert Waso.  He has registered 11 goals, including six game-winners, this season.  JD Haaf, meanwhile, has notched four goals to go along with a team-high four assists.  Brian Gately, who made three saves in the penalty kick shootout against Catholic, has put together a 1.07 goals against average and posted seven shutouts in 2017.

Tickets for Saturday's championship game are $5 for adults and $3 for seniors (62+) and non-Landmark students.  Admission is free for Landmark students and children under 10.
