MADISON, N.J. (Feb. 18, 2017) — The Drew University men's basketball team spent the pre-game Saturday recognizing two seniors, forward
Jonathan Allegrezza and guard
Joey Feinberg, before dropping a Landmark Conference contest to Juniata College, 71-67.

Top Performers:
• Sophomore guard
Dan Roibal notched his first career double-double
 matched a personal best with a 20-point effort that included a critical 3-point play with less than a minute to go. The guard also grabbed a career-high 11 rebounds in the setback.
• Sophomore forward
Nate Aldrich dropped a team-high 22 points and grabbed nine rebounds.
• Freshman guard
Riley Collins scored 14 points and assisted on five baskets.

Turning Point: Drew trailed for the majority of the context but with less than a minute to go turned it into a one-possession game. It began when Roibal saved the pivotal series when he went up aggressively against larger opponents to pull down an offensive board. He went right back up with one hand to draw the foul and the desperation basket. The and-1 conversion got Juniata's lead down to three points in the closing seconds of the game. The Rangers forced a miss, but couldn't convert on the next trip down the floor when they needed a 3.

• Drew made just 11 of its 18 tries from the foul line while Juniata made nine of 11.
• Juniata led by as much as 12 before Drew clawed its way back.
• The Rangers forced 13 turnovers from the Eagles while giving up just 10 of their own.

 • Drew, in sixth place, finishes just behind Juniata in the standings with a 5-9 Landmark record, 11-14 overall. Juniata closes out with a 13-12 overall record, also 5-9 in the conference.Â
