BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Drew University field hockey team blanked Moravian College for the opening 55 minutes, but the Greyhounds broke through with 14:15 left to edge the Rangers 1-0 in Landmark Conference (LC) action Saturday afternoon.

The Difference: Moravian (4-9, 1-4 LC) took advantage of a loose ball to score the game-winner. After Ranger goalie Ryann Callaghan made a save, Elizabeth Hrehovcik collected the rebound and slipped it into the back of the cage.

Knocking on the Door: After the goal, Drew turned up the pressure offensively, outshooting the Greyhounds 6-0 and gaining eight penalty corners. The Rangers mounted a furious rally down the stretch, earning four corners and taking three shots in the final three minutes. But Moravian held off the attack, with goalie Ashley Kunsman making a pair of saves before the 'Hounds blocked a potential game-tying shot from senior Kate Todero in the closing moments.

Stat Sheet: Moravian finished with a 16-11 shot advantage while Drew held the edge in corners (9-7). Callaghan finished with seven saves for the Rangers while Kunsman collected six stops for Moravian. 

Next Up: The Rangers (1-12, 0-5 LC) return home when they take on Bryn Mawr College in a non-conference match on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
