Ryann Callaghan piled up a season-high 18 saves, but the Drew University field hockey team lost by a 7-0 count at Catholic University in a Landmark Conference (LC) match-up on Saturday.

Turning Point: Leading 1-0, the Cardinals (1-9, 0-2 LC) closed the opening half with three goals over a nine-minutes stretch to assume a 4-0 halftime lead.

Between the Pipes: Callaghan turned in one of her top outputs of her career in terms of saves. Her 18 stops marked her sixth-highest total as a Ranger and her most since William Paterson University on Oct. 25 of last season. Freshman
Mel Cartagena came on to play the final 13 minutes in goal and made five stops in her collegiate debut.
