MADISON, N.J. - The Drew University men's lacrosse team raced out to a 13-3 lead to open the game and the Rangers earned a 16-7 win over Immaculata University in non-conference action Tuesday afternoon in Ranger Stadium. Junior

Nicholas D'Eufemia all poured in four goals for the Rangers, who posted their highest scoring output since defeating Bard College by an identical score on March 25, 2015.
Highlights
• The Mighty Macs (2-4) scored the game's opening goal, but the Rangers (1-7) took command with a 6-0 run over the final 7:06 of the first quarter. D'Eufemia scored his first three collegiate goals during the stretch.
• Immaculata stopped the bleeding at the 13:17 mark of the second quarter, but that's when Drew reeled off a 4-0 run as its leads ballooned to 10-2 with 1:37 left in the opening half. Four different Rangers found paydirt during the spurt, which included D'Eufemia's final tally.
• After the Macs scored the final goal of the half, the Rangers settled any doubt by netting the first three goals of the second half to make it a 10-goal game (13-3). Polacek scored the second goal during the run, then struck again for the final tally of the third quarter. Goettlich and Polacek tacked on one more goal apiece in the fourth quarter.

• Goettlich tied his career-high for both goals and assists, and his seven points marked a career-best.
• Polacek doubled his career goals total in one afternoon and needed just five shots to do it.
• D'Eufemia had a perfect afternoon, with all four of his shots finding the back of the net.

Thomas Ensmenger dished out two helpers.

Jonny Bronander scooped five ground balls and notched a pair of caused turnovers.

Miles Savage won 11-of-19 face-offs and picked up six ground balls.

Nate Sanders turned aside five shots over the opening 41 minutes.

The Rangers out-shot Immaculata 33-23 and held a 31-24 advantage in ground balls. Drew forced the Mighty Macs into 26 turnovers, including 11 failed clears. The Blue and Green cashed in on all three of their extra-man opportunities.
