DiDario Scores 100th Goal as Rangers Run Record to 10-0

MADISON, N.J. – Junior Allie DiDario scored her 100th career goal and the undefeated Drew University women's lacrosse team used a fast start to beat Marywood University 16-9 Tuesday evening in Ranger Stadium. The squad is now one of just three teams in team history and the first since 1997 to open a season 10-0. DiDario and senior Mia Campanale led the Rangers with four goals apiece.
 
Highlights
• With the game tied 3-3, Drew took control of the game with a 5-0 run. Five different Rangers scored during the stretch before the Pacers (4-4) struck with 45 seconds left, pulling within 8-4 at the half.
• Drew scored the first three goals of the second period to open up its largest lead of the game (11-4) with 22:53 left.
• Marywood refused to go away, however, and nudged to within four (13-9) with 8:20 remaining following a 5-2 run.
• The Rangers won going away, closing the night on a 3-0 surge. DiDario buried the first two goals of the game-clinching stretch, including her 100th career tally with 37 seconds left.  
 
Top Performers
• DiDario posted her second-straight four-goal game while piling up 10 draw controls.
• Campanale netted three of her goals in the second half, two of which snapped a Marywood run.
• Sophomores Lauren Cassella and Charly Nolting posted one goal and three assists apiece.
• Freshman Kendall Hartt notched two goals and one assist.
• Freshman Meliha Emini scored twice, and she also registered four caused turnovers and four ground balls.
• Sophomore Kat Michalski registered seven saves.
