SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Senior
Mia Campanale poured in five goals and one assist as the Drew University women's lacrosse team breezed to a 19-7 victory in Landmark Conference (LC) action Saturday afternoon.
With the win, the undefeated Rangers (11-0, 2-0 LC) tied the best start in team history. Only the 1985 squad, which started 14-0, has won 11 straight games to open the season.
Highlights
• The Rangers never trailed after scoring the first two goals of the game and opening the contest on a 4-1 run. Four different players scored on the team's game-opening spurt.
• Susquehanna (4-6, 0-2 LC) trailed just 5-3 with 14:04 remaining in the opening half, but that's when Drew reeled off a 10-2 run that spanned both halves.
• The Rangers closed the half on an 8-2 run and assumed a commanding 13-5 halftime advantage. Drew's balanced scoring continued as six different players scored during the run.
• The visitors picked up right where they left off in the second half, scoring the first two goals as the Rangers' lead swelled into double digits. The River Hawks were unable to get closer than nine the rest of the way as Drew outscored Susquehanna 6-2 in the second half.

Charly Nolting added three goals and two assists while freshman
Kendall Hartt netted three goals and one helper.
• Junior
Allie DiDario contributed two goals, one assist, three caused turnovers, and 10 draw controls. It was the fourth time this season and the second game in a row that she reached double figures in DCs.
• Sophomore
Kat Michalski finished with eight saves.

The Rangers posted advantages in both shots (38-21) and draw controls (17-9) while the River Hawks a 16-13 edge in ground balls. Drew forced Susquehanna into 22 turnovers, with 10 coming on clear attempts.
