DiDario’s Game-Winner, Campanale’s 100th Goal Highlight Thrilling Victory Over Kean

MADISON, N.J. – Junior Allie DiDario scored a golden goal on a free-position shot a minute into overtime, and senior Mia Campanale netted her 100th career goal as the undefeated Drew University women's lacrosse team rallied late for a thrilling 10-9 victory over Kean University in non-conference action Wednesday afternoon in Ranger Stadium.

The Rangers (12-0) trailed by two before reeling off three goals in 76 seconds to assume a 9-8 lead with 56 ticks showing. However, the Cougars (3-7) forced OT with a buzzer-beater, setting up DiDario's heroics. Drew is now just the second team in program history to start a season 12-0, joining the 1985 squad that opened 14-0. The Rangers are also just one of eight remaining undefeated women's lacrosse teams in Division III.

• The Cougars won the ensuing draw and called timeout with 16 seconds left. Sophomore Kat Michalski saved a shot with six seconds left, but Kean scooped up the ground ball before Danni LeSaint whipped in a shot just as the clock hit zero.
• Drew won the opening draw before the Cougars were whistled for two cards in the first minute of the extra session, the second of which led to DiDario's game-winner.
