Zach Lipshitz belted a two-run homer to give the Rangers (9-9, 3-3 LC) a three-run lead they would not relinquish. The two sides split a doubleheader on Saturday.

• The Rangers were cruising in the early going, jumping to a 4-0 lead through the first three-and-a-half innings. Drew took a 2-0 advantage in the second on an RBI-double from sophomore
Cole Bosch and a run-scoring single from senior
Eric DiPietro.

Max Felsenstein drove in single runs in the third and fourth, respectively, to hand the Rangers their 4-0 cushion.
• Juniata answered with two in the bottom of the fourth against freshman starter
Grant Purpura. However, Purpura would settle back in and blank the Eagles over the next three innings.

Matthew Lange tacked on an insurance run with an RBI-single in the seventh, and senior
Joshua Williams tossed a scoreless eighth out of the bullpen. However, Juniata's Adam Kipp blasted a three-run homer in the ninth to force extra innings.
• DiPietro sparked the Rangers in the 11th with a one-out double, setting up Mitch's clutch two-out single followed up a long ball from Lipshitz, who homered in all three games of the series.
• Senior
Harry Cohen (2-1) threw the final 2 1/3 innings to pick up the win.

Top Performers
• Lipshitz finished 3-for-5 with two runs and two RBIs. In addition to his homer, he also slugged a double and finished an incredible weekend batting .571 (8-for-14) with a 1.429 slugging percentage.
• Bosch also went 3-for-5 while Lange and DiPietro stroked two hits apiece.
• Purpura scattered five hits and two walks over seven innings while striking out five.

The Rangers continue their season on Tuesday, when they visit Ramapo College at 3:30 p.m. in a non-conference tilt.
