FORT MYERS, Fla. – The Drew University softball team erupted for 19 runs on 22 hits en route to a pair of victories on the third day of the team's Spring Break trip to Florida. The Rangers opened the day with a 14-8 win over Elms College before rallying past Albion College 5-3.

Game One Highlights
• The Rangers used a 14-hit attack to defeat the Blazers.
• It was a back-and-forth game early on until Drew broke out with a six-run fourth inning to assume a 10-7 lead. Sophomore

Game Two Highlights
• Drew and Albion locked up in a nip-and-tuck affair in which neither side led by more than two runs. The entertaining contest featured three home runs.
• Trailing 2-0, the Rangers pulled even in the top of the fourth, when Perry smashed her first collegiate home run with a two-run shot.
• The Brits went back in front with a run in the fifth before Drew rallied in the sixth. Freshman
Kaylie Kaffl drew a pinch-hit, bases-loaded walk to tie it at 3-3 before freshman
Madi Precht drilled a go-ahead two-run double.

Skyler Colarusso came on in the seventh and, making her collegiate debut, fired a three-up, three-down inning to nail down a save.Â

• Perry enjoyed a big day at the plate, going 4-for-6 with two doubles, a home run, and five RBIs.
• Sirota went 5-for-8 with three runs scored.
• Rodriguez had a huge game versus Elms, going 4-for-4 with two doubles, three runs, and three RBIs.

Cara O'Leary (2-0) picked up the win versus Elms, tossing a complete-game 10-hitter while striking out two.
• Sophomore
Stephanie Burns (1-1) was the winning pitcher against Albion, working six innings while scattering three runs on seven hits. She struck out five.Â
Next Up
The Rangers take a day off on Wednesday before returning to the diamond on Thursday, when they take on Albion again at 9 a.m. before playing Penn State Altoona at 11 a.m.
