MADISON, N.J. - The Drew University men's tennis team closed out its home schedule on a high note, defeating the United States Merchant Marine Academy 8-1 in an non-conference match Friday evening in the Simon Forum.

The Rangers went on to claim five of the six singles matches in straight sets. Diehl was an 8-2, 8-2 winner at No. 1. while Morrison scored a 6-1, 6-2 victory at No. 3. Goldstein (7-5, 6-2), Weizer (6-2, 6-0), and Gottleib (6-1, 6-1) won at Nos. 4-6, respectively.
Drew plays its final Landmark Conference match of the season on Friday, when it visits Moravian College at 1 p.m.
