MADISON, N.J - Competing at home for the first time since February, the Drew University men's tennis team downed the Pratt Institute 9-0 before dropping a 6-3 decision to Landmark Conference foe Juniata College on Saturday. The Rangers improved to 12-5 overall but saw their conference record dip to 2-2.
Against Pratt, the duo of freshmen 
Bret Schuler and 
Dan Blumenthal were victorious at the first doubles position by a score of 8-2. Junior 
Bryce Weizer and freshman 
Ben Dunlap teamed up for an 8-0 win at the second doubles slot while junior 
Lloyd Goldstein and freshman 
Jeremy Gottlieb finished off the doubles sweep with an 8-0 victory.
Weizer was triumphant in the first singles flight, 6-2, 6-1. Goldstein rallied for a 4-6, 6-1, 10-7 victory in the second singles slot. Drew did not look back in singles play as Gottlieb and freshmen 
Billy MacDonald, 
Brett Philip and Dunlap won their respective singles flights with ease.
For Juniata, Drew fell behind 1-2 after doubles play, with the lone victory coming from the tandem of MacDonald and senior 
Will Morrison at the third spot by a score of 8-6.
In singles play, Drew took two of the six singles flights. Blumenthal gained his first Landmark Conference singles victory with a 7-6, 6-1 triumph at the No. 2 position. At No. 6, sophomore 
Bryce Kennedy won his match 6-2, 6-4.
The Rangers continue their Landmark Conference play on Sunday, when they host Susquehanna University at noon.
