SCRANTON, Pa. – The Rangers racked up eight runs over the final two innings and defeated the University of Scranton 13-9 in a Landmark Conference series finale Sunday afternoon. With the win, Drew (14-10, 6-3 LC) completed a three-game series sweep of the Royals. The Rangers pounded out 15 hits for the game, with eight starters batting safely.

• Drew trailed 8-5 heading into the eighth before erupting for a five-run inning. Junior

Jayson Mitch capped the outburst with back-to-back two-run singles.
• The Royals (10-12, 6-5 LC) pulled to within 10-9 with a solo home run in the bottom of the eighth before the Rangers answered with three insurance runs in the ninth, which included a leadoff homer by junior
Matthew Lange, stretching his hitting streak to 16.

Harry Cohen came on to throw a scoreless ninth, striking out two.
• The Rangers set the tone for their big offensive performance with a two-run first inning, which featured a triple from Felsenstein and a solo homer from senior
Zach Lipshitz.
• Trailing 4-2 in the fifth, Drew pulled even on an RBI-single from senior
Mike Pettigrew and a run-scoring triple from Mitch.
• Bosch belted his first career homer leading off the top of the sixth to put the Rangers up 5-4 before the Royals answered with a three-spot in the bottom of the inning. Scranton tacked on another run to assume their three-run lead, setting up Drew's late rally.

• Felsenstein went 3-for-6 with three runs and a pair of RBIs while Pettigrew also drilled three hits and drove in a pair.

• Lipshitz' homer was his fifth of the season, and he has now gone deep in five of his last eight games, including five out his last six Landmark Conference outings.
• In addition to Cohen, four other Rangers saw action on the mound, with freshman
Grant Purpura starting and pitching 3 1/3 innings while coming away with a no-decision. Senior
Zach Luke (1-2) earned the win after tossing 1 1/3 innings of relief.
