MADISON, N.J. – The Drew University women's lacrosse team posted the third-highest scoring output in program history and defeated Neumann University 23-10 in the quarterfinals of the ECAC Division III Championship Wednesday evening in Ranger Stadium.

Mia Campanale netted six goals and two assists while sophomore
Lauren Cassella notched five goals and two helpers for the Rangers (15-4), who earned their first postseason victory since defeating Neumann in the same round of the ECAC tournament in 2014. Drew has now tied the third-highest single-season victory total in team history.

Allie DiDario reset her own single-season school record, which now stands at 114.
Highlights
• The game was tied twice in the early going before the Rangers opened up some breathing room with a 4-1 spurt, making it 6-2 with 20:16 left in the half.
• Drew closed the period on a 6-1 surge to open up a nine-goal advantage (15-6) at the intermission. Cassella scored all five of her goals in the opening half, with four coming on free positions.
• The Rangers needed just 1:34 to strike again in the second stanza, upping their lead to 10 and bringing a running clock into effect the rest of the way. Drew led by as much as 15 before the Knights scored the final two goals.

• Campanale's six goals and eight points were both season-highs.
• Cassella tied her season-best for goals, netting five tallies for the fifth time.

Meliha Emini added three goals, two assists, and five draw controls while classmate
Kendall Hartt contributed two goals, two assists, and five DCs.
• DiDario posted two goals, one assist, five draw controls, and three caused turnovers.
• Sophomore
Charly Nolting registered one goal and five assists while classmate
Kat Michalski finished with seven saves.

The Rangers finished with significant advantages in shots (44-23) and draw controls (24-10). Drew's tough ride allowed Neumann (11-9) to go to just 10-for-17 on clear attempts.

The Blue and Green make the short trek across town to FDU-Florham for the remainder of the tournament. In the semifinal round, the Rangers will take on Marymount University on Saturday at 2 p.m. FDU will face Cabrini University at 11 a.m. in the other semi; the final will be held on Sunday at noon.
