HOBOKEN, N.J. - The Drew University field hockey team lost by a final of 7-0 to a strong Stevens Institute of Technology team in non-conference action Wednesday evening.
Freshman
Bridget Kenny made a season-high 13 saves in just over a half of play for the Rangers (2-7). The Ducks (6-3) won their fourth game in a row.
The Rangers yielded just one goal in the first and fourth quarters, but the hosts broke it open with five tallies over the middle two frames.
Offensively, the Blue and Green attempted 13 shots - their second-highest total of the season - with four apiece coming from senior
Sami Strathern and freshman
Trisha Dominick. Junior
Charlotte Grimm added three shots.
The Blue and Green conclude their four-game road trip on Saturday, when they visit Goucher College at 1 p.m. in their Landmark Conference opener.
