TOWSON, Md. - The Rangers outscored Goucher 21-9 in the third quarter, breaking open a close game en route to a 63-45 road victory in Landmark Conference (LC) women's basketball action Saturday afternoon.
Twelve different players scored a point for Drew (11-4, 2-2), which has posted its best record in school history through 15 games.

Sekya Campbell and junior center
Erin Frederick posted 10 points and five rebounds apiece for the Rangers while Frederick also blocked three shots. Junior guard
Julia Ramos added eight points, six rebounds, and four assists while sophomore guard
Brooke Timinski scored eight points off the bench. Sophomore forward
Cecelia Kracht contributed three blocked shots.
Anise William posted 14 points and 11 rebounds for the Gophers (4-11, 0-4 LC).
Drew trailed by 14-9 - its largest deficit of the game - with 1:23 left in the first quarter. But that's when the Rangers put together an 8-0 run spanning the first two quarters, and they would not trail again this rest of the way.
Drew allowed just 10 points in the second quarter, when it led by eight with 1:27 left. But the Gophers scored the last four points of the quarter and trailed just 28-24 at the half.
The Rangers came out strong at the start of the third quarter, outscoring Goucher 13-3 over the first five minutes to open up a 14-point lead. Freshman guard
Joey Meyers scored five points in the decisive run while Frederick tossed in four points.
Drew's lead swelled to 19 (48-29) with 2:16 left in the quarter following a lay-up from freshman center
Kaitlin McGrotty. The Rangers led 49-33 at the end of the period, and put the game away with an 11-4 run midway through the final quarter.
The Rangers held Goucher to 25.0% shooting, including just 8.7% (2-23) from 3-point range.
Drew returns home on Wednesday, when it takes on Moravian in another Landmark Conference tilt starting at 7 p.m.
