ROSEMONT, Pa. - The Drew University men's lacrosse team outscored host Rosemont College 11-2 over the middle two quarters en route to a 16-6 non-conference victory Saturday afternoon.
The Rangers (3-2), who won their second game in four days, outshot the Ravens 49-20, won 20-of-25 face-offs, and held a 19-8 advantage in ground balls.
The trio of senior
Kevin Goettlich (four goals, two assists), freshman
Craig Wilkie (four goals), and senior
Kyle MacDonnell (three goals, two assists) led the Rangers offensively while sophomore
Paul Le Pera had another big game at the X, winning 19 of 24 face-offs. Le Pera was also 23 of 26 in Drew's win at Centenary on Wednesday.

Jack Tynan notched three ground balls and three caused turnovers for Drew while senior
Nate Sanders made five saves. Mark Porter stopped 16 shots for Rosemont (0-6).
The Ravens scored the game's first two goals, but the Rangers answered with a pair of tallies to make it a 2-2 game at the end of the first quarter, with freshman
Zack Zachmann and MacDonnell each scoring once.
Freshman
Tommy Larmore put the Rangers up 3-2 less than a minute into the second quarter before the Ravens tied it with 6:26 on the clock. But that's when Drew erupted for five goals over the remainder of the half to seize an 8-3 advantage at the break. Senior
Nicholas Polacek and MacDonnell scored within six seconds of each other before Goettlich struck for back-to-back tallies. Junior defenseman
Jonny Bronander got into the scoring action when he found paydirt with four seconds left in the half.
Rosemont scored a minute into the third quarter, but the Rangers broke it open with a 5-0 run over the remainder of the period to assume a commanding 13-4 lead. Wilkie scored three times during stretch while MacDonnell and Polacek each struck once.
Drew outscored the hosts 3-2 in the fourth quarter, when Goettlich scored twice and Wilkie added an additional tally.
The Rangers continue their season next Saturday, when they visit Manhattanville in another non-conference tilt starting at 3 p.m.
