ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. - The Drew University field hockey team was edged by a final of 2-0 in a Landmark Conference match-up at Elizabethtown College on Saturday.

It was a scoreless game before the Blue Jays scored with less than two minutes left in the first quarter, converting off a rebound.

The Rangers dug in defensively from there, however, and blanked E-town over the next two quarters. However, the hosts tacked on an insurance tally early in the fourth quarter. 

Sophomore Olyvia Jackson made eight saves in goal for Drew while junior Alexa Thomas threatened offensively for the Rangers, taking a shot on goal in the opening quarter.

Drew returns to action on Tuesday, when it visits Lancaster Bible College in a non-conference affair starting at 7 p.m.
