MADISON, N.J. - William Paterson University scored the game-winning goal in the 99th minute and handed Drew a 2-1 setback in non-conference women's soccer action Tuesday evening in Ranger Stadium.

Alexa Krause put the Rangers up 1-0 in the 25th minute, heading in a perfect free kick from junior
Gabby Gilgorri in the right corner and lobbing the ball over the goalkeeper's head for her fourth goal of the season.
The Pioneers (4-5) pulled even with a header of their own in the 41st minute to make it a 1-1 game at the intermission. Freshman
Amina Cirkiel made three of her four saves in the opening half.
Neither side was able to find the back of the net in the second half, when William Paterson held a 5-3 edge in shots. The visitors then put the game away with less than two minutes remaining in the extra session.
The Rangers continue their season on Saturday, when they visit Catholic University at 1 p.m. in a Landmark Conference tilt.
