NEW YORK - Five Rangers scored in double figures and the Drew University women's basketball team used a hot start to pick up a 78-36 non-conference victory at Yeshiva University Monday evening.
The Rangers (4-4) took control of the game from the start, leading 20-5 at the end of the first quarter, 45-13 at the half, and 62-19 through three quarters.
All 10 players who entered the game scored a point for Drew. Sophomore guard
Joey Meyers led the way with 13 points, five rebounds, four assists, and three steals while senior guard
Julia Ramos posted 12 points and five steals.

Erin Frederick also contributed 12 points while junior guard
Sekya Campbell registered 11 points and eight rebounds. Sophomore guard
Kyra Mann also hit double figures, netting 10 points.
Yuval Nitzan led Yeshiva (0-5) with 15 points and eight rebounds.
The Rangers held the Macabees to 17.8 percent shooting in their big first half, when they also forced 21 turnovers. Drew continued to play suffocating defense in the third quarter, when it limited Yeshiva to 14.3 percent shooting while outscoring the Macabees 17-6. Yeshiva outscored the Rangers 17-16 in the final quarter.
Drew closes out its season on Thursday, when it hosts Stevens in another non-conference match-up.
