HUNTINGDON, Pa. - Drew outhit Juniata 19-9 for the day, but the Eagles rallied twice and swept a Landmark Conference (LC) doubleheader from the Rangers on Saturday afternoon.
The Eagles won the opener 10-7 and the nightcap 6-5.
Sophomore

In the first game, Drew led 7-3 heading into the bottom of the fourth inning. Sophomore

Hallgren knocked in two more runs in the fourth on his second two-bagger of the day, giving the Rangers their four-run lead. But the Eagles responded with two runs in the bottom of the frame to make it 7-5 before taking the lead with a five-run sixth, which included a go-ahead three-run homer from Isaac Maclay.
Senior

Welsh and Hallgren each ripped two hits in the opener, when Drew outhit Juniata 10-4.
In the second game, Juniata jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the first, only to see the Rangers rally with five unanswered runs. Drew scored two in the second and three in the fifth, which included back-to-back RBI-doubles from Hallgren and Del Sol and an RBI-single from junior

The Eagles came back in the seventh, however. After drawing back-to-back walks, a two-run double tied the game. Juniata then played small ball, bunting the runner over to third before Ben Raab delivered a game-ending sacrifice fly to right.
Kroll went 3-for-4 in the nightcap while Del Sol and Hallgren collected two hits apiece.
