MADISON, N.J. - The Drew University men's tennis team completed an undefeated regular season while clinching the No. 1 seed in the upcoming Landmark Conference Championships with a 5-4 victory over Goucher College Tuesday afternoon in the Simon Forum.
The Rangers (7-0, 7-0 LC) earned the Landmark top seed for the first since 2012 and will host eighth-seeded Elizabethtown College in the semifinals on Saturday at a time to be determined.
Drew extended its winning streak to 22 consecutive matches dating back to April 15, 2019. The Rangers also picked up their first win over the Gophers (6-3, 6-3 LC) since April 6, 2014.
Graduate student
Geoffrey Diehl won at both No. 1 singles and No. 2 doubles and won the match-clinching point for Drew with his 6-1, 6-3 singles victory.

Bret Schuler prevailed 8-4 at No. 2 while improving to 7-0 on the season.
Freshman
Jack Polvere cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 6 singles, pushing his record to 6-0, before Diehl clinched it.
