HUNTINGDON, Pa. - Freshman
Janelle Arch scored a goal for Drew, but the Ranger field hockey team lost by a score of 5-1 in its Landmark Conference opener at Juniata College on Saturday.
The Eagles scored the first two goals of the game before Arch just beat the horn at the end of the first half, scoring with four seconds left to make it a 2-1 game at the intermission. Sophomore
Maxine Lloyd collected her first collegiate assist on the tally.
Juniata tacked on a goal in the third quarter before putting the game away with two goals in the final stanza.

Olyvia Jackson started in goal for Drew and finished with seven saves over the opening 57 minutes. Junior
Bridget Kenny came on for the final three minutes and did not allow a goal.
The Rangers continue their season on Wednesday, when they host Ramapo at 4:30 p.m. in a non-conference affair.
