MADISON, N.J. - The Drew University field hockey team lost by a score of 8-1 to Ramapo College in a non-conference matchup Wednesday evening in Ranger Stadium.
The Roadrunners (8-2) raced out to a 5-0 lead, then tacked on three goals in the second half.
Senior
Jinah Cappuccino scored for Drew, converting a pass from freshman
Janelle Arch for her first goal of the season and the second of her career.
Sophomore
Olyvia Jackson started in goal for the Rangers and made eight saves over 39 minutes of action. Junior
Bridget Kenny played 21 minutes and stopped nine shots, including eight in the second quarter alone.
Victoria Docherty led Ramapo with four goals and three assists.
Drew continues a three-game homestand on Saturday, when it takes on Susquehanna at 1 p.m. in a Landmark Conference tilt.
