MADISON, N.J. - The Drew University men's soccer team fell by a score of 4-0 to SUNY New Paltz in the consolation game of the Drew Fall Festival Sunday afternoon in Ranger Stadium.
The Hawks (1-1) scored three times over a 15-minute span midway through the first half, then added a final tally early in the second period.
The Rangers tightened up defensively from there, however, and blanked New Paltz over the final 43 minutes.
Senior
Calum Erlenborn started in goal for the Rangers and finished with three saves.
The Rangers continue their season on Wednesday, when they visit St. Joseph's-Long Island at 7 p.m. in a non-conference tilt.
