MADISON, N.J. – The Drew University field hockey team dropped a 5-1 decision to visiting Elizabethtown College on Saturday in Landmark Conference action.
The Rangers (4-8, 1-4) play a non-conference game on Thursday, heading to Cedar Crest for a 7:00 p.m. contest.
Prior to the match, Drew honored its talented senior class, recognizing them for their hard work and dedication to the program.

Alexa Thomas were honored.
Sydney Aguilar put the visitors on the scoreboard 5:32 into the contest, knocking in a pass from Chloe Smith. Aguilar struck again in the second quarter with just under three minutes expired, giving the Blue Jays a 2-0 edge.
The Rangers made a push, twice getting back-to-back penalty corners. The first set of corners came following a save on a scoring bid by Drew's
Alexa Thomas, while the second group saw a shot by Thomas blocked by traffic in front of the net.
In the third quarter, Elizabethtown extended the margin to 4-0 with a pair of goals before the hosts got on the scoreboard. Thomas had a flurry of three-straight shots from in tight on Blue Jay goalie Madeline Kachel, but
Maxine Lloyd buried the rebound for her sixth tally of the season with 8:39 on the clock.
The Blue Jays didn't allow Drew to get any closer in the final 15 and Smith added her second goal of the game to make it a 5-1 final.
Olyvia Jackson finished with 10 saves for Drew, while Kenny had one.
Sheila Roth and
Jackie Melone each added defensive saves.
Kachel recorded seven saves for Elizabethtown and Angelina Giglio-Tos had one.
