BETHELEHEM, Pa. – The Moravian University field hockey team used a big first half to hand the Rangers a 6-0 setback in Landmark Conference (LC) play on Saturday.

It was a 1-0 game at the half before the Greyhounds (5-7, 2-1 LC) broke it open with five second-half tallies.

Junior
Olyvia Jackson collected 14 saves for the Rangers (4-6, 1-2 LC), marking her third double-digit save performance of the season.

Sydney Anderson paced Moravian with two goals.

Bekkah Kehoe scored with just over a minute left in the first quarter for the Greyhounds. But after making four saves in the opening period, Jackson stopped all four shots she faced in the second stanza to keep the deficit at one heading into the break.

Jackson turned aside four more shots in the third quarter; however, Moravian found the back of the net three times in the period to go up 4-0. The 'Hounds tacked on two more tallies in the final quarter to set the final score.

The Rangers return to Landmark Conference action on Wednesday, when they host the University of Scranton at 7 p.m.
