Joey Meyers scored a career-high 30 points while senior center
Erin Frederick netted 24 points and the Drew University women's basketball team celebrated Senior Day by clinching a berth in the Landmark Conference (LC) Championships with an 80-49 victory over Goucher College Saturday afternoon in Baldwin Gym.
The Rangers (16-7, 7-7 LC) earned the fourth seed in the tournament and will now visit top-seeded and 16th-ranked Scranton on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
Meyers shot 12-for-16 from the field, and she also grabbed nine rebounds, dished out four assists, and swiped six steals. She posted Drew's first 30-point game since

Frederick shot 12-for-19 while recording her fourth consecutive 20-point game. Senior guard

Cecelia Kracht blocked three shots and pocketed three steals.
Belle Carini led Goucher (1-21, 0-14 LC) with 12 points.
The Rangers, who shot 57.9% from the floor, never trailed and raced out a 22-8 lead after one quarter of play. Their advantage ballooned to 24 (40-16) at halftime and would reach as much as 35 late in the game.
Drew will be making its first Landmark Conference playoff berth in team history when only the top-four teams have qualified for the postseason. The Rangers competed in last year's conference tournament when every team that held a season was accepted into the championships.
