MADISON, N.J. - The Drew University men's tennis team kept its perfect Landmark Conference (LC) record intact, breezing to an 8-1 victory over the University of Scranton at a sunny and warm Drew Tennis Complex Wednesday afternoon.

Senior Dan Blumenthal, sophomore Santo Carroccia, senior John Dickey, and sophomore Jack Polvere each finished 2-0 on the day for Drew (13-3, 5-0 LC).

In a rematch of last year's Landmark Conference championship match, the Rangers swept the doubles points before capturing five of six singles matches.

With the win, Drew pushed its regular-season winning streak versus conference opponents to 14 and has now won 17 straight overall versus Landmark foes. In addition, the Rangers stretched their home winning streak to 21. All three streaks date back to the 2018-19 season.

In doubles play, junior Avi Perera and senior Bret Schuler captured an 8-1 victory at No. 1, improving to 5-0 in conference action, while Dickey and Polvere teamed up for an 8-6 win at No. 2. Blumenthal and Carroccia notched an 8-2 triumph at No. 3.

The Rangers went on to capture all five of its singles wins in straight sets, including a 6-4, 6-3 victory at No. 2 by Blumenthal. Carroccia pulled out a 6-4, 7-6 (7-4) win at No. 3 while junior Leo Ambrogio (6-4, 6-1), Polvere (6-2, 6-3), and Dickey (6-1, 6-0) prevailed at Nos. 4-6.
