Alexa Thomas scored the game's only goal 43 seconds into the fourth quarter and the Drew University field hockey team earned a 1-0 Landmark Conference victory at Goucher College on Saturday.
The Rangers outshot the Gophers 13-5 while earning their second Landmark victory of the season.

Olyvia Jackson made a pair of saves to pick up her second shutout of the season for Drew.
The Rangers held an 11-1 shot advantage in the opening half but were unable to dent Goucher goalie Katie Bloom, who made six stops in the game's first 30 minutes.
The Gophers took the only two shots in the third quarter, but the Rangers wasted little time breaking through in the fourth quarter. Drew was awarded a penalty corner 31 seconds into the period, and 12 seconds later Thomas buried her fourth goal of the season with what held up as the game-winner - her third of the season and the ninth of her career.

Drew is back in action on Wednesday, when it hosts the University of Scranton in a Landmark Conference affair starting at 7 p.m.
